At the First State Freedom Store, we are more than just a store. We are a meeting place for celebrations, discussions, and honoring the important people who shape our community. That’s why we are proud to once again invite you to gather with us as we recognize the brave men and women who serve on the frontlines every day—our first responders.
Who Are First Responders?
They are the ones who run toward the call when emergencies strike and lives are on the line:
Police Officers – keeping neighborhoods safe and upholding the law
Firefighters – battling flames, rescuing victims, and aiding in emergencies
EMTs & Paramedics – providing lifesaving medical care in critical moments
Dispatchers – the calm, guiding voices behind every emergency call
Other Emergency Personnel – corrections officers, nurses, and military who serve with courage and compassion
These everyday heroes put service before self—often at great personal risk—for the sake of others.
